Being in a club team has many advantages because even if your child does not play during her time in her club team, she will gain excellent and valuable techniques that she probably won't find at the high school levels.
Most high school teams that excel as a "winning team" are usually like that because of the previous training most of the girls or boys had with club team instruction.
With that being said, if you believe that that particular program has in someway worsen your child's playing techniques then you might consider getting private lessons for your child.
When I used to do private lessons, I had a 9th grader in the same position as your child but I did not know this at the time. This young girl was trying out for the 9th grade team as a setter. I trained her for free for about 3 days a week, 2 hours a day, for 2 weeks. This young girl made the varsity team because I was able to teach her little things that I wouldn't of had time to teach everyone else.
I would suggest that you find a personal trainer who has played in a club team themselves and ask that trainer to concentrate on a certain position. Your money will go further this way and have better results.
I hope this helps you in making a better choice for your child's volleyball career.
