8th grader, doesnt serve overhand, tryouts are coming!!!

QUESTION: I'm going into the 8th grade and volleyba tryouts are today. I am left-
handed and can't get ANY of my serves over. I made the 7th grade
volleyball team last year and I have improved on my serves. Do you have
any ideas or tips that will help me get my overhand serves over?

I'm so sorry that it's taken me so long to answer you.  I feel like a bum.  I was on vacation in Montana, but was working on the answer to your question, but I spilled coffee into my laptop!  And it froze up right there!  I took it to be repaired.  They couldn't fix it.  Then I had to go buy a NEW lap top...but the B&B's wireless then no longer worked.   Oh, man!  So I'm sitting in the airport in Chicago, finally online.  

Again, I'm so sorry it's taken me so long to get back in touch with you.  Do you still need your question answered?  I have some advise, if you still need it.  I feel horrible about this.

Welcome back!  Camps this late in August?  in the fall, winter or spring?  No. None.  Club volleyball?  YES!!  Here are a few articles that have already appeared on this volleyball site that may help you learn more about club volleyball.  

Here is one.  I tell a parent that NOTHING beats playing club ball.  Not lessons, not camps, nothing.
