To make sure that all my readers young and old can understand some of my comments, I have chosen to use simple vocabulary words and interpret the rule for this sole purpose.
This is an answer that I have already answered but that's okay here is my response.
Well Kaumika let me start by saying that there are a lot of videos that show you how to jump higher. The videos links at the bottom will all help you jump higher without the use of any materials other than gravity, skills and proper body use of mechanics so enjoy them and choose all or some of the them.
The three main things you need to remember that will help anyone jump higher are using the proper muscle use for that skill, practicing the skill itself, and simulation skill practice.
Proper muscle use - unless your 6'4" you will not need to practice jumping higher. Using the proper muscles that are required to use that skill effectively are very important in order to see any results. If you would break down the spike approach you will see what body parts are needed in order for you to jump higher. This starts with a good balance start approach, arm swing, and explosion of both leg and arm power. Keep that in mind if you ever decide to create your own workout.
Practicing the skill itself - most hitters make the mistake of jumping very high yet they are not able to give the ball a good swing and therefore spike the volleyball into the net. The best thing you can do is to practice the entire spike approach on a non moving object. For example if your highest one arm jump height equals to 9'5" then that will be your target goal. You can choose a leaf on a tree and practice your approach while at the same time you practice hitting the ball at it's highest point. Once you have reached this point you can start a new target. In practicing this skill you need to remember that you must always hit the ball at your highest point at all times.
Simulation skill practice - besides practicing the skill itself, you must also practice several other skills to make sure that you always have options in case the set is not a good one or the blockers are way to high and consistent. While you are practicing your target goal such as hitting a non moving target, you should also practice looking at the blockers. When you practice your spike approach and hit your practice target, practice looking at the blockers as you hit the ball. Most of the blockers never look at the hitter because they are to busy trying to penetrate into your court. By looking at the blockers just before you spike the ball you will have a great advantage such as using a dink, roll shot, and especially using their hands to create a tip ball at all times.
Here are what I believe to be simple yet effective exercises that will help you become a better, smarter and stronger hitter in volleyball.

Practicing the block - just like practicing any other skill you should first find out the proper way to block. Find a wall and mark a target goal for you to practice everyday. I would suggest not penetrating into your opponent's court and instead use a soft block. By not penetrating into your opponent's court, you will be able to gain an average of 6" to 10" inches upward. A soft block is performed by letting the hands absorb the impact of the volleyball hit. Basically letting you hands become inactive as the volleyball touches your hands. Always see the block as you are performing this skill. This will also let you see the purpose for that hitter. You do not always have to use a soft block but do not penetrate into your opponent's court. Learn how to angle your hands if you do not penetrate into your opponent's court.
