Question
In major league softball for girls, how far is it from the pitcher's mound to home plate?

Answer
Hello Amanda

The ASA pitching distance is 35 feet for 10U and 8U girls fastpitch and 40 feet for 12u,14u,16u, and 18u girls fastpitch. The distance is measured from the front of the pitching rubber to the back tip of home plate.

For Little league girls softball The pitching distance for the divisions of softball from the Major Division up to Big League is 40 feet, and 35 feet for Minor League. The distance is measured from the front of the pitching rubber to the back tip of home plate.
