I play in an ASA men's slow pitch competitive league in KY. During the tournament our game was called at the end of the 3rd inning due to weather, and the reschedule date is set for 1 week later. Our pitcher will be out of town for that reschedule date. My question is does our lineup have to be exactly the same for the make-up game, or can we put a sub in for him.
Thanks,
J. Tucker

Thanks for the question!
Your batting order will stay the same as the first game but just use a substitution for any player(s) that can't make it to the rescheduled game.
Good luck!
I'm sorry, left out some important info, for this game we played with an extra hitter, and had no subs listed on the official lineup card, because they were not going to make it that night. do we have to forfeit or can we drop the extra hitter.
Answer
Here's the deal... You can't drop the EP slot (if you can't fill it, you have to take an out when that spot comes up), but you can add new substitutes to the game (and scorecard) as long as they are on your roster. ASA Point of Emphasis # 51 2006 Rule Book.
