Softball injury

Question
My daughter plays on a 12 and under softball in California, the Fresno Force. She sustained a concussion during a game while in the dugout. Her own player hit her over the head with a bat. According to ASA rules who is responsible for reporting this injury to ASA insurance. The coach never filled out any paperwork. It was his daughter who hit mine by the way. The organizational president told me today that I could have notified ASA of the injury. I'm not the coach I'm just the dad why is it my responsibility?
Thanks in advance for any help.
Answer
Good morning Kevin,
Gosh, what a terrible experience, as a dad myself I can only imagine my reaction to this if it was intentional, I'm hoping it wasn't.
I'm just an umpire and have no experience or expertise with ASA insurance. I did look this up for you and you might want to use it
