Playoff game called to darkness/batting order

Question
I'm the commissioner for a mens slowpitch league. A playoff game was called to darkness after the bottom of the seventh and the score tied 6-6. The game is going to resume the next scheduled day. My question is regarding the line-up. What happens when a team can't field the same players? This team in question is going to be missing two players from their line-up. Do they replace them with extra players, and if they do will they have to take their place in the line-up? Or can they replace them and change the line-up? The big question is regarding the line-up. The other thing is does the game resume where it left off in the batting order or do they start at the top of the order. I appreciate your help, and I hope I wasn't too confusing.
Answer
Hi Dan,
The game will resume at the EXACT spot it was stopped. Going into top of 8 who ever was going to be up to bat, will bat.
Anyone on the teams roster may play, they need NOT have been at the "1st" game. IE B4 and B8 can't be there, any roster player that is eligible can legally sub for them.
A team can play "shorthanded" by taking an out in that batting position. IE if they started the "1st" game with 10 they can play w/9, if 11 they can play w/10. This is only if they have no available legal subs.
You must maintain the same batting order just as if the game continued w/out interruption. You can't move B2 to B4 position (who's not there) and insert a sub at B2. If B2 continues to play in the game they must bat at B2 and the sub is inserted at B4.
Let me know if you need anything else on this, I'll answer as soon as I see it.
