Ejections

Question
In an ASA rec league which is semi-coed(must have 2 females on the team) A team started with 12 Hitters. 2 players were ejected from them game leaving them with 10. When their position came up it was ruled an out. My team walked a batter to get to the next batter which was an ejected players turn so it was an out. However the player who received the walk got ejected from the game for throwing his bat when he got the walk. This left them with 9 players but no one to take the place of the player who was just ejected. The umpire ended the inning and now they would have 3 outs when the players ejected would bat. My question is since the 3rd player who walked that got ejected should have had to go to first and they had no one to replace him so I feel the game should have been forfitied by the team with 3 ejected players.
Thanks
Kevin
Answer
Hi Kevin,
I can't give you an answer because your local league's rule differ alot from ASA rules.
Under ASA if you have an ejection (just one) and cannot legally sub for the player, the game is over and it is forfeited.
I would ask your league supervisor for a clarification of ejection rules re: forfeits.
