batting accuracy

how can you be more accurate when you hit a softball? when its fast pitched?

It's difficult enough hitting a fast pitched softball than worrying about trying to place the ball. I've always taught my players to 揋o with the pitch" which basically means, learn to hit the ball where it's pitched. For example if the pitcher throws outside, take it the other way. If the pitcher throws inside, pull the ball or try to hit it back up the middle. Trying to force the ball to go a certain direction is sure to lead to frustration.
