Question
Can a 7 year old play softball?  She turns 8 on June 10 of this year.
Her DOB is 6/10/99.  The league is located in NYC. They want her to play in a baseball league and I want her to play softball.  Thanks.

Answer
Is this for Little League? I know very little about Little League and I'm a long way from NYC. For Little League softball A participant born on or between the dates of January 1, 1999, and Dec. 31, 1999, is league age 7 and Little League does offer have Minor Softball for 7 and 8 year olds however I don't know if your local league offers Minor Softball.

You should be able to contact a local representative with your questions.  If you don抰 know who that is you can start here: http://www.littleleague.org/about/contacts.asp
