Question
I was told at a sporting goods store today that the ASA changed the regulation requirements on slowpitch softball bats...is my 34/32 bat still legal or do i have to buy a new bat before the season starts, and could you send me a list of what bats are illegal in case i have a problem with an umpire. we have had a lot of umpires not let me use one of my bats in the past and other umpires have told me it's perfectly legal
Answer
Hi Christina,
It depends on your bat, some "grandfathered" bats will be illegal for ASA play in 2008.
I can't give you the lists because they're in pdf files.
Go to www.asasoftball.com
click on "certified equipment"
click on "bats"
That will give you all the info you need.
If you have any questions after that, write me back.
