Question
if 6 innings have been played and the weather is bad can the game be called?

Answer
Hello Traci,

Yes, it can.  Different age groups and sanctioning bodies have minimum inning requirements, but most require three innings to be complete or two and a half if the home team is ahead.  If the game is called in the middle of an inning then the score at the end of the last completed inning would be the final score unless the home team is batting and has scored a run to tie or go ahead.  In that case the current score would become the final score.  I hope this was helpful.
