high school sports honors

Question
Can you answer what the criteria are to make all divison, all county, all conference honors for high school softball? Is it based on performance? Stats? Just curious.  Thanks in advance for your help

I don't Coach High School, so I would only be guessing.  Here in Tennessee, the award recipients are normally based on voting by all the Head Coaches in that particular Conference, District, or Region.  Stats would in all likelihood be the major factor considered since they obviously only saw the games in which they played against a particular player and didn't see every game that player was involved in.  I don't know how your particular state decides these awards, but I believe this to be the norm.  I hope this was helpful.
