ejections and suspensions

Question
We had a player ejected from a game and was at first told that he was suspended from the next game. We were later told that after reviewing the rule book (ASA) he was actually suspended from our next 2 games. We aren't able to find this in the ASA rules and would like your help.

Answer
Hi David,

ASA doesn't address this except in the case of using a banned bat in a tournie.  You are gone for the entire tournie.  A TD and TUIC can disipline "bad" situations for the benefit of the tournie.

However local assocs. can decide their own disiplines for leaque play.
