Question
How many times can a team manager call timeout an inning? How long does a batter get to get into the batters box once i request a batter before strikes are called?

Answer
Hi John,

A manager can only request time from the umpire they cannot call time.

The offense is allowed 1 conference per inning and the defense 3 per game and of course time is given in these situations.

The batter has 10 secs to take the batter's position after being directed by the umpire.
