Windmill pitch counts

2016/7/15 17:35:06

Question
I have a daughter who pitched 15 games in a 2 day period, took 1 day rest, practiced on the next day, traveled, then pitched again. She is pitching between 40 and 43 feet, depending on the tournament. She does not complain, but I also know her "not wanting to disappoint" attitude. How much is too much?

Answer
Hi Curt,

I don't know how much is too much, except if something, wrist, shoulder, knee, etc starts to hurt...it's past time to stop.

Even though the fp motion is very natural and it's usually the legs that go first 15 games in 2 days seems like a awful lot to me.
