Rules for Coed Senior Softball

2016/7/15 17:30:31

Question
Where can I find sources for developing a set of rules for senior coed softball players? Age Group: around 70+ on average. Strictly recreational for residents of a retirment community.

Answer
HI Gary,

What a great idea.

I think all you really have to do is combine the rules of ASA senior game with the coed rules.  You might want to tweak them a little for your own situation.

Some of the things I think you should consider which are in our senior game
double home plates
commitment line
courtesy runners
double 1st base

you can find all of this in our rule book, if you don't have  go to the ASA website (www.softball.org) and you can buy one there.

let me know if you need anything more.
