Throwing Lane

Question
Is it possible for 1B to create a throwing lane on a bunt?
On a dropped 3rd strike or a bunt the catcher can cover, we have our 1B call inside or outside depending on where the ball is on the field. If the ball is inside the line we call inside if the ball goes outside the line we would call outside.
Since the 1B is stationary, is it possible to create a throwing lane? In my opinion, the catcher must take an additional step inside or outside to create a throwing lane to 1B to avoid the runner who is headed to 1B.
Answer
No the first baseman is not able to create a throwing lane. The runner gets the running lane, the defense gets fair ball side of the line. If the runner is hit in fair territory when she could be in the running lane with a throw to put her out, she is out for interference, all other runners are put back on the base they last touched prior to the interference. If the runner is where they are supposed to be, it indeed is up to the catcher to move enough to make the play.
