Question
Hi I am the lead of hitter on my team. I was doing well in the beginning of the season and now im in this really bad slump. I Have know idea what is going on. I'm doing everything right or am I just not seeing the ball please help me I have a game today.

Answer
Kirah,
Players go through slumps all of the time. My advice is to simply have confidence in your ability! If you are lead-off then your coach believes in you already.
Here's another thing you can do, it sounds silly but try it. Close your eyes and hit ten pitches in your mind, visualize putting the ball in play. This sounds nuts but it works and maybe it will help you in todays game. Let me know how it went. Good Luck, Coach Suthe.
