Question
Will you explaine ,what do you do when there is 3 shrikes do you run or what?
it is for fastpitch softball!
             Thank you

Answer
Karisa,

I teach all my players to run on all third strikes.  This gives them a small advantage if the ball is dropped.  The rule is pretty simple.  With 0 or 1 out and no runner on first at the time of the pitch, you can run to first on a dropped 3rd strike.  The only differnece when you have 2 outs is if first base is occupied at the time of the pitch you can still run.
