Question
I play alot of positions on the softball field but i mainly play shortstop. There have been many times were i should have dove for a ball but i didn't because i don't know how. I am scared that i will hit the ground hard, and scrape myself up. I don't know the correct position to be in when diving...and i really need to learn but nobody can tell me how.
PLEASE HELP ME!

Answer
Danielle,
Being good at diving for balls is not something that you can be taught, it comes from within. Players that can dive for balls and make great plays have want.
Don't be afraid, would you take a couple scratches to make a diving grab to win the state championship for your team? Be tough and try, you can do it! Let me know, Coach Suthe.
