Possible batters interference?

Question
Had an interesting one today. Runner on second, batter foul tips the pitch (caught by the catcher). Runner steals third, and the catcher beans the batter in the helmet with the throw. Batter never left the box. The ball scoots away from the catcher, and the runner was able to score from third. Umpire ruled a live ball and no interference, and I would tend to agree with him. Another effect I could see would be to return the runner to second with no penalty. The other team wanted an interference call, with the runner out. What would you have?
Answer
Hi Kaitlyn,
I have the same as was ruled. The batter did nothing to interfere which is actively hindering the catcher or intentionally interfering with the thrown ball.
there is no rule to send the runner back, the catcher needs to aim their throws better
