Interference?...Penalty?

Question
I have read through the rules on this and I am pretty sure I know the right answer...wanted to get your take on this situation. This situation occurred in 14U fast-pitch softball.

We are playing defense. The opposing team has a runner on third base with one out. There is one strike on the batter. The opposing team is at the end of the batting order. On the second strike in the dirt (the catcher does not catch the ball in flight) the first base coach yells hysterically for the batter to run to first (as if it was the third strike). The runner runs to first. Of course, our catcher is confused and the coach and runner has drawn a throw to first base. The runner at third then takes off for home and scores.

What is your interpretation of the interference rule when a coach has intentionally or unintentionally confused the defense and draws an unnecessary throw? Which offensive player should be called out, if any?

Answer
While I would consider this "bush league", there is nothing in the rules that prevents it.  It is the defenses responsibility to understand the situation and make the correct play.  The coach yelling at there own player does not constitute interfence here.

I just read a similar discussion on another board.
