collision between runner and fielder

Question
H1 drops a hit over 3B head,  LF comes in to field the ball and does so.  H1 stops at 2nd, but sees 3B off the bag and proceeds to 3rd.  LF runs to third with ball, and collides with H1 as they both reach 3rd.  LF tags H1 after the collision and H1 is off the bag.

So is H1 out or safe at 3rd?  Does it matter if H1 touched 3rd first?

Answer
Hi Dan,

I wish to help you ask any softball umpire questions, so call the batter if they reach base either the b-r or B1.  LF would be F7 and 3rd would be F5.  It justs makes it so much easier for someone who has not seen the play.

If F7 tagged B1 before they touched 3rd, I would have an out.  If B1 safely touched 3rd and were forced off the base by the collision I would have a safe.
