Who won?

Question
This is for a co-ed slow pitch softball game in a recreational league. Team A and Team B are allowed to play up to 7 innings but a minimum of 5 innings in a time limit. At the end of the 5th inning it was Team B 8, Team A 5. In the middle of the sixth, Team A pulled ahead 10-8, had two runners on base, and two outs when the game was called for weather (before Team A could finish and before Team B had a chance to bat). Who won? Do the two teams need to play the game over, play the last two innings over, or is there a "winner"?
Answer
Hi Nancy,
By ASA rules the game is official after 41/2 or 5 complete innings depending on who was ahead. When a game is called we go back to the last complete inning which would be 5 and the 8-5 score.
You're local league may have different rules where you complete the game, ask the LD but above is the ASA way.
in ASA championship tournament play we do everything we can to play a full 7 and would restart the game where it was stopped if at all possible
