If I have my own sanctioned league and I want to use ASA umps do I need to adhere to all ASA rules or just use them as a guideline in setting up my league and board?

Answer
I think that you find that to use ASA umps all of your teams will need to have their team insurance through ASA.  You will need to have your field insurance throught them as well.  They require that everybody is covered through them for anybodies insurnance to be valid.

You can make local rules that differ from ASA, the umpires won't mind as long as they are clear.
