QUESTION: where can i get an asa 2008-2009 rule book

ANSWER: Hi Scott,

you can get a 2008 for about 10 bucks from your ASA state or metro commish,  as 2009 is not printed yet

QUESTION: Mark,i called the commish and she said i could not get an asa rule book. They are only giving to the coaches and his assistant coaches. Did she lie to me or what?

Hi Scott,

Gosh, I'm really surprised, and also have no idea if that is some kind of qualification for rule books.

Go to the ASA website (www.softball.org), click on "local assoc. contacts" on the bottom  of the page.  That will bring you to drop down box and find your state and click.  There will be a # of names there and I would contact the state commish or jo commish and see if that's the policy.
