Question
My question is this ... Is there a rule that states if a
coach or asst. brings a rule book on the the playing field during a game, that coach is subject to an automatic ejection from the game? if so can you please let me know where I can find it in the rule book. Thank you so much...john

Answer
Hi John,

There is no rule in the rule book about a coach having a rule book on the playing field.

Should a coach wish to chat about a play and they have one in their hand, I have no problem.  I hope they were studying it in the dugout.

If they are waving it in my face or similar actions, now I have a problem and they can read it in the parking lot.
