Question
IF YOU HIT A POP-FLY RITE IN FRONT OF THE PICHER AND SHE GOES FOR IT AND MISSES IS IT REALY AN INFIELD POP-FLY RULE THAT YOU ARE OUT?

Answer
Hi Isis,

If there are less than 2 outs and 1st and 2nd or all bases are occupied and we have a fly ball that can be caught with ordinary effort by an infielder the infield fly rule is in effect and the batter is out.  The ball need not be actually caught for that out to happen.
