DP/courtsey runner

2016/7/15 16:57:08

Question
We use the dp/flex.  My dp player can really smack the ball, but is not one the the fastest girls on the team.  When she makes it on base, can she have someone run for her? (a sub that is listed on the roster, but has not run before)  Can my original dp then hit again, her next time at bat? If replaced by the same runner, then the runner becomes the dp?  OK, how many times can she get a runner, before she is out of the game?  Thanks

Answer
Hi debbie,

The DP is just like any other player in the line up.  The can re-enter once, which means you sub a runner for her, bring back your original dp to hit and the next time you sub for her she's out of the game.  Any sub in the DP's position is the DP.
