Bases-loaded walk

2016/7/15 16:56:04

Question
Bases are loaded with one out.  There is a runs-per-inning rule of 6.  Five runs are already across the plate.  The next batter draws a walk, walks halfway to first, then goes into the dugout without touching first base.  Is the batter out?  Does the run score?  How does the game continue?

Answer
Even a batter that is walked is required to complete their baserunning requirements.

The batter that left the field should be out.  You now have two outs and continue with the next batter.

If the runner came home on the walk and touched home plate you now have six runs.  If this happened I would think the inning is over on the run rule.
