Question
Once an inning starts can defensive players move postions based on male or female batting?  Ex.  Male in right center, female in right.  Male left handed batter comes to plate.  Male in right center moves to right and female moves to right center.  3rd batter in inning to bat.  where in rule book can this be found?

Answer
Hi Scott,

this is fairly common in co-ed, as long as it continues to be 2 and 2. The rule only says 2 and 2 it says nothing about switching positions once an inning begins being illegal, which means it's not.

The same would be true for a male F6 to move to F4 and the female F4 move to F6, or males F5 and F6 to move to females F3 and 4's position, no rule against it.
