Question
i have a solid defensive 2nd baseman & a power hitter who cant play defense. perfect flex/DP situation. however my power hitter cant run. can i use a pinch runner for my power hitter twice before she is scratched from the lineup or is she scratched immediately?

Answer
Hi Brian,

you can legally sub for your starting DP and they can reenter once.  So yes your DP gets on base, sub a fast runner, afterward re-enter your DP back into the offense.  They again reach base, now you legally sub a runner and your starting DP is done.

basically take a player out once, they can come back, take them out twice and they're done for the game.
