Question
I am considering buying a Louisville Slugger TPS H2 Hybrid fastpitch softball bat.  I am wondering:

1.  Does this bat require a break in period?  If so, how would I do that?
2.  Is this bat ok to use in cold/hot weather?

Sincerely
Mike

Answer
Hi Mike,

Thank you for your question.  As mentioned in my allexperts Profile, equipment questions are not my strongest suit, but I can definitely point you in the right direction.  I just finished scouring Hillerich and Bradsby's web site, www.slugger.com.  H & B manufactures the Louisville Slugger bat you are considering purchasing.  I called their bat information number, 1-800-282-2287(BATS), to talk with them about your bat, but they are closed today, September 5th, Labor Day.

You are wise to do your "homework" before you make your purchase, as you are about to buy a serious bat for serious players, and it comes with a serious price tag.  It is so "hot" that it may not even be legal in the league you play in.  Please do read every word about Slugger bats on H & B's web site.  Then, call their 1-800 number and have a conversation with a H & B employee about your bat.

Good luck with your continued research!
