ASA Slowpitch

Question
What is the allowable height limits for ASA Slowpitch softball.
I heard last year that ASA went from 6 feet to 12 feet in height to 6 feet to 10 feet. Is this correct?
I play in an ASA League and they are allowing up to 12 feet which I think is incorrect.
Thank you!
Curt

Answer
Hi Curt,

A couple of years ago ASA changed the height from 12' to 10'.  This is now the rule for everyone EXCEPT senior play which continues at 12'.

Your league does not have to follow the change to 10'and can make a local exception, just check with your LD but if it's strict ASA play it's 10'
