Question
liner hit down the 3rd base line that tips the 3rd basemans glove in fair territory but then lands foul. Home plate umpire says foul then goes to the 3rd base umpire who tells the home plate umpire that the ball hit the glove in fair territory. Can the foul call be reversed to a fair ball and where would you place the runners?

Answer
Hi Joe,

This is unfortunate but....yes a call can be reversed ASA Chap 10 (god rule) gives us the authority.  It's primary to "get the call right". We place the runners where we think they would have been had the call be correct in the 1st place.
