replay of rainout game

in girls fastpitch softball, when a game is called due to rain in the top of the fourth inning is it replayed starting in the fourth inning or does the game start over in the first inning

Hello Ricardo,

After three innings of play have been completed, it is considered a completed game should weather stop play after that.  If both teams have had an equal amount of at bats, then the point of stoppage would be the final score.  If the Home team was batting and had scored enough runs to exceed the visitors score at the point of stoppage then that would become the final score.

If the inning is not completed then the final score would reflect the score at the end of the last completed inning, assuming the above scenario were the home team pulled ahead in their at bat was not the situation.  I hope this was helpful.
