aggression rule

situation, double play been made, runner slides to second, second baseman behind bag and is not taken out and completed the double play.  After play runner at second comes across bag pushes second baseman and then head buts him in the chest (this is not seen by any umps), words were exchanged but no derogatory comments were made, as they were walking and still chirping back and forth baserunner through his elbow up and at the second baseman (no contact was made and field ump was 3 feet away at this time and did see this act), my question is aggression or violence does not mean having to make contact just that act of violence or physical aggression towards another player or ump constitutes an ejection from the game automatically?

If you could give me the ruling and page numbers in the rule book would be appreciated.  Also if there is a link to an online site that has the rules to look up for my self?

Hi Brad,

10-1-j gives the umpire the power to eject a player for flagrant misconduct.  we would obviously have to see it and because FM differs from umpire to umpire what 1 umpire would let go w/ a warning another would not.  Physical contact is not necessary
