co ed softball
Question
When playing coed (5/5) if a woman is missing, when does the out get counted for her at bat? after the first out for her at bat, does the team take an out every time her position was to come up? what rule in the rule book covers this?
Answer
Hi Ange,
Co-ed has more local exceptions IMO than any other game of softball.
In strict ASA if you are starting the game playing shorthanded you take an out in the 10th position every time that position comes up.
If you've already started the game and someone leaves you take an out in their bp every time it comes up.
ASA 4-1-d
mark
batters box when there are no lines
bases loaded
