adult slow pitch 6-12 rule

Question
if 99% of the umpires do not have correct judgement on 6ft to 12ft is there any thing that can be done?
i know for a fact that if i'm pitching 5ft. behind rubber and flat footed i can not physically throw the ball below 6ft if i get within 6ft of front of plate and i don't believe to many people can.
camera set up side view lens at 6ft height fence down both lines 6ft top rail.i tried to throw a flat pitch and could not get below fence rails, even on very short pitchs.

Answer
Hi Bob,
It takes a lot of training and experience to be a good PU. I don't agree w/ your 99% except that newer or less experienced umpires are certainly not as consistent and an umpire whose called thousands of pitches.

We have trained in our district and state clinic with 2 lines stretched between the pp and hp at 6' and 12' and umpires watch from front, side and behind as pitches are thrown.

Tell your state or district UIC the umpires need more training on 6-12.  If enough of you do maybe they'll incorporate in their clinics.

I will certainly agree it's almost impossible to throw an underhand  pitch at moderate speed from or behind the pp in SP that reaches HP that does not touch the 6'.  I've seen it demonstrated hundreds of times using our lines.
