Controversial call in 10U softball play-off game

Question
During a girl's 10U play-off game in extra-innings, the batter hits the ball, past the infield and past left center fielder.  The batter, watching her coaches rounds 2nd base as the outfielder is throwing the ball back to their pitcher.  The ball bounces into and comes into contact with the legs of the batter as she runs to third.  The ball bounces off the field toward dug-out, batter scores.  My question to you is, would the batter be out since the ball came into contact with her?

I don't know what the call at the game was but this is not a controversial play at all.

unless the runner intentionally interfered with the throw and I don't get that at all here, we have nothing and play on.  otherwise we'd be playing "dodge-softball" and that would not be good.
