softball bats

hi, i just bought my daughter a louisville slugger catalyst x1 composite bat 34/26.. i just noticed its a slowpitch bat, can she use it for fast pitch softball ??  thanks

Actually ASA doesn't classify bats as fast pitch or slow pitch on there bat list.  a long as the bat has the ASA 2004 stamp or the 2000 stamp and is not on the banned bat list, you have a legal bat.  my daughter uses a "slow pitch" bat as wwll.
