Scoring RBIs
Question
I have been told that for every run scored there should be an RBI recorded, no matter what. Is this true?
Answer
Bill,
It is not true that for every run scored there should be an RBI. For example, a runner scores from third on a wild pitch. Which batter did anything to score that runner? Contrary to what many think, you can't get an RBI for just being at bat.
This scoring guide will help you out.
