Mitts V Gloves

Can a fielder , other than a firstbaseman wear a firtbasemans mitt while play saying THIRD BASE ?

Well it seems that almost 50% of the questions I get have to start with "well it depends" on what org you're playing in" and this 1 is no exception, plus in this case it also depends on if it's FP or SP in some orgs.

In ASA and Fed a defensive player can use any glove or mitt at any defensive position provided it meets size rules.

I believe in utripp it's ok in FP but not SP and in nsa it's ok in SP but not FP, how's that for everybody being on the same page???????
