Will Carling

i was wondering if you know what will carling's number was while he was still playing?, i dont know if he had several or he had one main famous one, please help!

Thanks for the question. He has gone down (deservedly or otherwise) as one of the world's greatest outside centres, so he normally wore the number 13 shirt, at least 9 games out of 10.

He sometimes wore the number 12 shirt, the inside centre, since some inside centres have a wierd anti-superstition and insist on wearing 13; most recently Will Greenwood but it goes a long way back. Will Carling wasn't bothered so he occasionally wore the 12 shirt but played the 13 position.
