Armed Forces Europe Rugby for women

Question
I and a few girls I play rugby with in Hanau have been trying to find info on a womens armed forces team in europe. So far we continue to hit dead ends. Is there anything out there as far as womens rugby goes?

Answer
Ma醡,

There is only one US forces 搈ilitary?team left in Germany.  It is in Illesheim.  In 2004, they started a women's team.  The head coach is Dave McNaughten at [email protected]

For the first time, there will be an All Army women's rugby team.  Soldier-athletes can now apply to participate in All-Army Sports via the Internet at the Army Sports webpage <https://armysports.cfsc.army.mil>. The website provides detailed information about the program, competition calendar, selection criteria, and points of contact in the Army

Within a year, we hope to have some sort of IMA-E recognized framework for identifying and promoting All Army rugby applicants.

There is German women's rugby (frauenrugby).

If you can speak German, the official website is: http://www.frauenrugby.de/start.htm

There are also some German women's rugby blog sites.

Thank you,
