Scrum Half

Question
Well, I'm playing this game for a year now. I've played as third row (flanker), and in the backs as center, wing as sometimes as fly half, as a replacement. Now I'm going to Europe, and i belive that i should play as scrum half, because I'm a small guy, What tips as a prop do you have to give me??

Thank You

Answer
Hi Francisco,

I wouldn't assume you will be too small to play flanker in Europe. Skill and fitness at that position over come a lot. Also in my personal experience Europeans are typically smaller.

As for half back I suggest going over my recently answered questions as I have answered a few about half back.

The biggest thing to do is to communicate. A half back should be the mouthiest talker on the field, continually directing his "troops" to where they should be. You might be pulling a prop off the side of a maul and re-injecting him in the center of it, directing the backs, marshalling the forwards or calling for runners off the side of the ruck or maul.
