Answer
Hi Liam,

I suggest making sure you do the basic as well as you can. Extreme focus on the task at hand be it the scrum, lineout, kick off. The goal is to be noticed for a few runs with the ball or good tackles but to also get ticks next your name for the core duties of a prop. There is no point in being a show player and being weak in your scrum or lineout lifting.

Make safe passes and if you can't go to ground and set up a ruck or maul. Support well the ball carrier and get stuck into rucks and mauls. If a maul is well won then hang well back and communicated to the half back that you are a runner option.

Be positive and professional. Play your game and be yourself.
