Question
hey, i am 15 and play outside center in Ontario Canada, do you have any tips on training i could do in the off season??

Answer
Hi Steve,

You need to focus on keeping your aerobic fitness base while building strength and bulk. Also taking care of ANY injury first is priority.

There needs to be a balance. Immediately after your season ends, if you have no injuries to fix the majority of your work can go towards strength / bulk work in the weights room. Maintain a base cardio but balance it more 80/20 in favor of weights. as the playing season gets closer you will need to alter the ratio so you maintain strength/bulk while increasing cardio and at the last few weeks: speed.

That is very general plan. You need to get with a qualified trainer who can assess your current levels and plan your goals and work out with you. Shop around for the right gym / trainer. You need to be asking serious questions about qualifications, results, testimonials from current clients and what their methods involve. Choose the right one for you.

Only one on one training is what I advise I will not set a fitness plan in this medium.
