Question
Hi , ive just recently became intrested in trying rugby out as a hobby and im having trouble in finding a local team if any that are willing to take people who have no Experince playing and lil knowledge of the sport , i kno the basics and the rules but id like to try playing, im not a very physical person when it comes to running etc but i do have a large size and would probably suit being a lineman if anything, thanks for any input you can give.

Answer
G'day John,

I am not familiar with the Scottish program. I would start by asking around the people you know. If you can find just 1 person who currently plays rugby I would stick with that guy to get an introduction and a little mentorship into rugby.

Ask all friends, family and co-workers.

Otherwise I would go on line and just call around the clubs explaining your situation. I am sure a team will take you in.

Look through my old answers here at AllExperts for much more information on how to play rugby, techique and more.
